Gata is a traditional Armenian Cookie’ made with butter and flour. But in this keto-friendly version. We are leaving out the flour and using almond meals instead. To create the classic Gata flavour, you all also need diced walnuts, ground cardamom & a bit of caraway seed. Once everything is mixed, you all end up with a homogenous lump of dough that needs to be rolled and cut out into small heart-shaped pieces before baking. This recipe yields 24 Keto Gata cookies that come in at just note, then 90 calories each — making them the perfect low-carb treat!

Ingredients required for Gata Cookies:

   4 Eggs

   1 cup almond flour

   ¼ cup co

   1 Teaspoon baking powder

   1 Teaspoon ground cinnamon

   ½ cup melted butter or coconut oil

  ¼ cups chopped walnuts

  3 Tablespoons brown sugar

How to prepare Gata Cookies:

1    Making Keto Gata at home is easier than you may think! 

2    Start by preheating your oven to 350°F.

3    In a bowl mix, 4 Eggs, 1 cup almond flour, ¼ cup coconut flour, 1 Teaspoon baking powder, 1 Teaspoon ground cinnamon and ½ cup melted butter or coconut oil together until smooth. 

4   Once finished, fold in ¼ cups chopped walnuts and 3 Tablespoons brown sugar alternative for added flavour. 

 

 

 

5   Once all ingredients are fully incorporated, spoon them into muffin tins and bake for 18 minutes.
