Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the shredded chicken evenly on the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. Layer the ham pieces on top of the chicken.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, softened cream cheese, Dijon mustard, white wine (if using), lemon juice, and salt using an electric mixer. Mix until you get a smooth, thick sauce.
- Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken and ham in the baking dish.
- Layer slices of Swiss cheese on top of the sauce. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
- For a golden, bubbly cheese topping, broil for an additional 2 minutes. Watch closely to avoid burning.
